How long does it take? I try to get pets in and out as soon as possible and will call when your pet is available for pick up or give you an estimated pick up time. On average allow 4- 6 hours, but I can do "Express Grooming" by scheduled appointment for an extra fee, which takes 1 and a half to 2 hours usually. Pets may also stay for the day if your gone to work all day, We are open till 5:00pm. I do my best to accommodate everyone's needs. If you need something special (early pick-up/late drop off) Please let me know when you make the appointment because I am only physically capable of doing so much in one day. Please call me to see how we can work it out to fit your needs. (205) 467-0140
How are Pets Dried? I use a combination of methods. I own 2 high velocity dryers, one has a variable speed setting. I have a quiet stand dryer for finish work and "fluff drying". And I also use a method called passive drying, meaning dog is put into an open air crate into a room with controlled temperature (slightly warm, but not hot) and high velocity fans to circulate the air around the room. Drying is a hot topic these days (for good reason) and wanting your pet only hand dried is not always best for all pets.. turns out being blasted away by a HV dryer is not always a relaxing experience.. some dogs cannot handle that and i am not going to force it on them. Some could care less what you do.. so I let the pets help me determine what is right for them. I promise your pet will never over-heat here.. it's not an option.
